code completion in sap gui 7.20 final release in SAP R/3 4.7

Hello Experts,

I have installed sap gui 7.20 on SAP R/3 4.7, which has been installed successfully and I am able to open everything properly. But the problem is that I didnt get

new features of ABAP Editor like code completion as I heard that we get after installing SAP GUI 7.20. The abap editor is same as earlier I was getting by using SAP GUI 640. After installing gui 7.20 I am also not getting option button in right hand corner of abap editor so that I can customize abap editor's fonts and code complete settings. Please help me as I really nead abap editor with code completion feature.

Hello Sameer,

the prerequisites for using the AutoCompletion are release >= 7.02 and

SAP GUI >= 7.20.

Hello Jude,

Thank you for your reply, but I am still confused because I have seen a video on sap website, in that video the abap version is 620 which is mine as well and it is shown that it is providing new abap editor features like code coloring, text highlight and code completion. Why I am not getting those features?

you have to enable the new editor in se38 or se80
