How can i restrict creation of transport requests from within the tasklist?

Hello

I want transport requests to be created only from the tasklist and not directly from the satellite system.

How can i achieve thi?.I tried using parameter S_TRANSPRT but it is of no help.

change request tab.....status switch

set as per requirement

it will solve ur issue

I have already set the status switch but yet it is not working.Developer is able to create requests from outside the  tasklist.

Hi Saritha,

If you are doing from solman from a specific project you need to make the project assignment as mandatory

by doing so all the Switch will work properly.

if still it doesnt work i suggest search OSS for a bug

After making the project assignment mandatory the developers are able to create a request but unable to sâve it unless they mention the project id.I guess this would be okay with us.

Hello Saritha,

I understand that your developer is able to create new transport requests in the DEV System beyond CHARM. For this purpose he needs specific authorizations, I guess that object S_TRANSPRT has been assigned to the user with specific values.

To check it out I would start an authority trace (transaction ST01) for this user.

In the trace file you will se the authority objects, assigned to this user.

Another possibility is to start SU53 after creating a transport requests.

Hi,

if you sure you done all in solman system, execute solman configuration check once, is all goes green?

you can try to login to the dev system directly and execute the tcode spro_Admin, choose your cts project, configure your CTS switch there,

We ran the solman configuration check and everything is green there.

Also we tried setting the status switch directly from the satellite system --> SPRO_ADMIN but it is already set same as it was in the solman system.

But still issue persists.

Could there be any other problem?
