Select a location to which a plant has been assigned

Dear Experts

Require your guidance

When i am creating the shopping cart in in SRM 5.0 i m getting the error as "Select a location to

which a plant has been assigned  (Item  abc)"

when analysed i could see that all the attribues, ext attributes every

thing are fine. but i noticed 2 things because of which it might be

occuring

1. in BBP_LOCMAP - for this plants there are 2 company codes have been assigned

2. because of the above i m even not getting the ship to party details in shopping cart

How to remove this plant assigned to 2 company codes or is it because of some other settings

Hi,

You can remove/delete location using FM BBP_BUPA_EVENT_DELE2. Enter Partner Number of location to delete the required.

Hi Experts,

When checked in BBP_LOCMAP, i can see that for this ABCD plant, there are 2 line exists with the Same LOGICAL SYSTEM, and this ABCD plant has been assigned to 2 diffrent company codes

Now how to remove this duplicated logical system entry

please guide

You should delete the plant through the program's suggested above.

Then automatically the assignment to both company codes get deleted.

Then reimport the plant from the desired company code and check the LOCMAP table.

Try through program BUPA_TEST_DELETE and reimport the plant.

Hello,

Have you entered a plant at the SC item level?

Check if the Material number/Product id entered in SC  has been maintained for the plant in the relevant MM system.
