Settings for SC offline approval

Hello,

When SC is created, an email is sent to the approver (Microsoft Exchange Server) with details of the SC and a link to portal. The user then uses the link to connect to Portal and approves / rejects the SC.

The user wants to get an email with possible link / option (button) to approve / reject SC from the Exchange Server itself. The workitem will then be processed in SRM for further approval / subsequent process.

Please inform what steps / settings to be maintained to complete the requirement.

In In addition to the note mentioned by Melina,you will need to do soem configuration in the system as mentioned in the below link:

HI Bhavesh,

Which SRM version do you use?

If SRM 7.0 on , please check if the following note is applied which will enable the approval buttons on outlook 2007 on:

1682407  Offline Approval buttons not available in Outlook
