Byte code Adapter

Dear all,

I have a problem in the step configure automatically in the managed systems configuration.

The activity byte code adapter installation is red

the detail of the error :

i followed the guide for implement isagent via smd gui but i have an error :

i don't understand because my instance Web AS java is running and i have no error in previous steps.

Hi,

have you installed wily ?, have you done the confgure introscope step in solman_Setup? is that green?

are you trying to deploy bytecode agent in managed system ?

How you are started the sdm? Using remoteGUI.bat in os level?

you can try using jspm too.

Please update.

Yes i have installed willy and it's work, and the configure instroscope step in solman_setup is green.

i'm trying to deploy isagent on my solman via the remote gui and i receive the error you can see in the 3rd image.

Hi,

It is recommended to install the byte code agent via the Managed System Setup section in the SOLMAN_SETUP wizard. Deployment via SDM: I am not sure about this method.

In the first screenshot you posted - could you check the 'Details' link in the Log section for the step ByteCode Agent installation? This should give more idea as to why the installation via wizard fails.

Hi 

The  correct way to use this bytecode agent is to install it on Solman system and later you can push that to any no of managed system , connected to your solman landscape. As  per your very first screen shot atached with this thread.

I can see that you have installed it through 3rd screen shot , and after that to configure that with your

satelight system you have to follow the 2nd screen shot attached by you 

I hope this is more clear now.
