Result analysis Issue

Hi SAP Guru,

We have time and material billing in which the sales order is created.

When we run RA, it gives an error message " Error in Material Determination for Sales document Item XX.

Character combintion w/o Material assign in DIP Profile ZZ, costs elements XXX XXXX

I have checked the DIP profile the cost elements exists for the mentioned materials.

What could have possibly go wrong.

Thanks you all, the problem was solved, there was a wrong material inserted and the process failed.

Check your config for material determination in DP profile.

If required , take help of SD guy.

Check the criteria you have defined for Material Determination. Mere existence of cost elements for the material doesn't matter much. I am sure there is some flaw in the way you have configured your DIP profile.

Check the configuration properly and revert.
