Hi All,
I need help with respect to Time Based Disaggregation. I am converting my Monthly data into Weekly Data. I am converting my 12 months data to 52weeks starting from 01.06.2012.
I am enclosing the file after the conversion. I am unable to determine how this dis aggregation happening.
Could you anyone help on logic of calculation for Time Base Disaggregation with respect to data I have enclosed.
Also someone explain on all other different type of time disaggregation also with above example?
Thanks,
Best Regards,
Bhaskar

Hi,
I guess you just have some confusion with the data disaggregation when the week overlaps 2 months.
The data disaggregation depends on the storage bucket profile how data is saved in liveCache. If there are mixed periodicities of e.g. M and W then the data needs to be saved in technical buckets to distinguish overlapping weeks between two months.
You should display the data in technical buckets first, then check the F1 help for different disaggregation method. You will kjnow how the the data is disaggregated.
To display the technical buckets, check note 737230.

Hi Claire,
Thanks a lot for the information. My storage Bucket Profile has both Week and Month but I am using a complete Month data in my Time Bucket Profile. I am using 24Months Hist Data and 18Months Forecast.
Now for the business requirement, we need to display the some of the Monthly data into Weekly data. As you know in the Interactive Planning Book there is option to convert the Monthly data to Weekly Data. I using the Time Bucket Profile: 9A52WEEKS starting from period 01.06.2012. When I performed this logic, the above disaggregation value came as a result. I am not understanding the fact how this value got disaggregated?
Kindly help me out in understanding this disaggregation.
Thanks,
Best Regards,
Bhaskar
