Hi, I am configuring A java system 7.0 SP24 on solution manager 7.1 SP4
During the step Enter system parameters (which is green ) When I click Check URL and Test logon for Common parameters and JAVA parameters respectively I Get the follwing error:-
The Load Balancing URL could not be checked
Error Technical System <SID>/JAVA could not be found in Landscape API
Info entered in Common parameters for Load Balancer host is <managedSystem FQDN> and for Load balancer port is 81<SCS Instance NO>
also in the step 6 Create users when I click create users It says User status cannot be checked in status column
and in logs it gives me error E:CL_DIAGSTP_MESSAGE:485 with details as again same given in previous step 4 which is
Technical System <SID>/JAVA could not be found in Landscape API
Also I have created the role Z_SPML_FULL_ACCESS_ROLE with actions spml_write_action and spml_read_action and assigned to user
still it gives me same error.
Please help
Hi all...
My error got resolved.
Actually my java stack component LM-SERVICE was not up to the required level
also SAP AP component in abap stack was one patch level behind.
refer not Note 1639266 - Solution Manager 7.1 SP Stack 4: recommended corrections
I dont know how they got left while updating the stack.
but my problem was solved after that.
thankyou all

Hi,
I remember I had a same issue, issue resolved later on, I followed below
1. Execute Landscape verification tool, check all are green for your system, If that clears you will not gettng this error again.
2. Also make sure you entered proper parameters, port number should be proper.
Thanks
Jansi

Hi,
Please check if the SAP Host agent and SMD agent installed on the managed system's host are running properly and connecting to the Solution Manager. Once this works the Landscape API details would be filled.
