CUSTOMER MATERIAL INFORMATION RECORD WITH 2 MATERIALS?

Dear sd gurus

We have cust material info problem (VD51), because

we have 1 material number

map to 2 or more customer material...ie. Material A in customer material

called with Material B and Material C by the customer ...Is it possible

maintain duplicate record on Customer Material Info ???? Or there is a way

to change in IMG.?

Workaround - Use space interval before the customer material number

For Example :--

Your Material : A

Customer material for A : B

Customer Material  for A : C

Customer materials for A : D

I think you can maintain these combination , and even if customer materials is B / C / D it will call matrerial A.

pl try to understand requirement here  suppose i have one material xxx ok but when customer askes particular material xxx then system allows 2 or 3 materials should come into sales order then we want to select what customer likes

Got it now.

You want a pop-up / selection window for user to choose the material from the list .

If this is the case than you have to go for the material determination, in which you can get option to chose thae material manually   . Pls refer following links for details :--

H i venu,

This is not exactly business case, Please understand the process if customer order X material we will have to send the same material. if you want to send other materials instead of  X, refer the "material substitution" process or you want to sell Y,Z materials along with X , than use the "Cross selling " process.where you will get the popup with Y,Z materials after enter the material X.
