how we create one sales order with out stock is there?

Dear sd gurus

i read one article in it tool box that is give below here my doubt is how we create one sales order with out stock is there ?

and could u explain a little bit

A Sales Order is created for say 10 qty and there is no material available that time.

SO Conf Qty is 0.

The sales order is saved.

After 2 days the material becomes available....

            

               solution:

You can run rescheduling (TCode V_V2) every night in background to perform

this function.

This worked for us without a problem.

you can maintain the availability at delivery level, then you can do the sale order with out conform quantity ,

normally it depending on requirement type also ,

mainly  you should maintain availability check at delivery level,

at path

img-sale and distribution - basic function - availability check and transfer of requirement - availability check with atp logic or against planing- define procedure for each schedule lines  category - here do not check the you schedule lines   for availability .

and same path determine procedure for each delivery item category , here check the availability like below screen

Dear Venu

We can save the sales order even if stock is not there. That is the basic setting in availability check. If stock is not there system will show the availability check screen where  the confirmed quantity will be shown as zero. We can save the sales order without schedule line confirming the date. Once stock is available we can go to VA02 and click on availability icon at the bottom of the sales order overview screen. Else we can can do the rescheduling as mentioned in your query
