Displaying fields in ALV table in WDA

Hi guys,

I am using alv in webdynpro for displaying data. Actually in wda the fields displaying in view layout which are designed in context level that are process of context binding but in alv i have taken five fields from mara table in context level but in ouput display getting all fields of that table. what was that?

i want to display only five fields in alv table which have taken in context level.How can i get it that functionality in alv table?

Hi,

In the context property, remove the data dictionary name 'Mara'. You will get only the 5 fields.

Hi,

Select node->Goto properties of node..Delete the entry in Dictionary structure field(i.e Remove MARA table name ...Test the application.

Hi Sreenivas,

         The context node which ur using to display data in alv is having a dictionary structure of MARA.

Now though u have only 5 fields selected from MARA table in alv it is displaying all. So if possible

remove the dictionary structure properties of your node.

        You can also hide or delete column before displaying the alv.
