Is is possible to configure transaction QM03 so that the Causes tab (within Items tab) appears in display mode?

Hi,

Thanks for responding.

I don't want to add 'user data' to any of the screens.

I can enter data on the Items Causes tab when using Tx QM02 but when using Tx QM03 only the Items Overview tab is shown.

Regards,

Steve.

Hello Steve,

Not sure what exactly you're looking at...

Coz in QM03, everything will be in DISPLAY mode whereas in QM02 it will be EDIT mode as per your config.

Please confirm your requirement again. Thanks.

Anup

Hello Anup,

Transaction QM02 lets me enter data on the Items Causes tab screen but when I access the same notification using transaction QM03 the Items Causes tab is not available (or visible) to display my entries.

Regards,

Steve.

Yes steve...Your observation is correct,in display mode there are many thing like fo example  Action box is not displayed ,in addition to activity or root cause etc.

As I know there is one object that need to be activated for the same. You can get in touch with SAP for same. Also let us know ,if you get something.

Thanks

Hello Steve,

Check if any restriction is put on based on Influencing field-Transaction Code (QM02/03) in tcode-OQM1 (Field Selections for Quality Notifications).

Just to guide you, goto Tcode- OQM1 --> click F6 (Tab-Influencing) --> Double click on Influencing field- Transaction Code. (A new screen will appear...)

Enter Transaction-QM03 in input field-Contents and check for if fields related to tab-Causes are HIDE.

You will come to know difference by entering both transactions-QM02 & QM03.

Hope this will help.

Regards,

Anup

Hi Anup,

I followed your instructions but there are no hidden fields within transaction QM03.

I think it looks like Sujit is correct that some data is not displayed.

Steve.

Hi Sujit,

It would seem that you are correct that some data is not displayed by QM03.  Typical of SAP to make cause obstructions for no reason.

Steve.

Hi Sujit,

SAP have told me that the Items Causes tab only appears within transaction QM03 when Causes have been created.

Regards,

Steve.
