Role/Action Access For Saving/Deleting/Reading a File on Server

Hi All -

I am using text saver and saving a file through path (web:// )

Later, I have created a user with a role xmii_user but thrg it- I am not able to save/delete/read the file which i created.

If i associate the xmii_admin role action to it. The user is able to save/delete the file and everything works fine.

I even tried the same with db:// ,

but I believe if i use db:// ..then file will not be published and user will not be able to read it.

*I dont want to give xmii_admin action role to user

I am working on MII v12.2

Please guide if there is any other action which can be provided in UME for user to perform the above actions.

All thoughts welcomed.

Hi,

Try add this action "XMII_Workbench_Content".
