Hello Nitin,

We can create multisource universes only on Relational datasource.
In your scenario both of your datasources are OLAP cubes(SAP BW& Hyperion ) . So we can not create a multi source universes based on these two datasources.
We can create multi source using SAP BW using relational JCO connection with any other relational datasource.

hope this will helps you

Thanks,
Pramod.

Hi Nitin,

Yes we can create a universe based on two or more infocube, two dso, or two multiprovider.

Steps:

1.Login to IDT and create a session to your BOE Server.

2.After the session is established, right click on 'Connections' folder and select 'Insert Relational Connection'

3.Click on 'Next' and select 'SAP JCO Connector' as your middleware and provide your BW credentials.

4.Test the connection.

5.Select the 'infocube', 'dso', or 'ultiprovider' and select 'finish'.

6.Create one more connection by following the same steps from step 2 to 5 in Repositary Resources.

7.Create Shortcut of these two connections in local project.

8.Create a new data foundation and select 'multi source' and click on 'next' and select the two created relational connections.

9.Create the data foundation by keeping all the default options selected(recommended)

10.Create a new business layer on top of this data foundation by keeping all the default options selected(recommended)/

11.You can publish this to the repositary and use the unx for reporting.

Thank you
