Not able to open attachment from SRM Portal from shopping cart application

Dear Expert

I am unable to download the attachment from SRM 7.0 based shopping cart application from SRM Portal. When I hold the ctrl key while clicking the attachment it gets opened.

Without pressing the ctrl key, the window gets opened and closed immediately without opening the document.

I am using the IE 8. Most of the users are facing the same issue. Pop up blockers are turned off.

Kindly let me know, what settings that I need to maintain in this regarding.

Is it related to the IE issue or something else?

Note: All SRM related documents are stored in the content server.

Hello Hariprasath,

Please refer note # 1343768 WD ABAP: Opening Office Files in external windows fails and do the setup in Browser as mentioned.

That should solve your issue.
