Low RAM while debugging a smartform

Dear all,

I've got a big issue regarding my SAP GUI 6.40, PL 18 on Windows XP, SP2.

While I'm debugging a "normal" smartform, SAP GUI takes nearly all of my RAM (1,6 GByte of 2,0 GByte). Other debugging (e.g. SE38 reports) run quite smoothly.

I also happens, while I just edit in the transaction SMARTFORMS. The RAM is freed again, if I leave this transaction.

Does anyone have an idea about this?

Hi,

with the problem with ram or system

go for some settings

right click mycomputer

properties

advacned tab

go to performance

in that go to advanced tab

go to virtual memory

click on change

fo to custom change and

d drive make it as 2000

second one 2500

and then set and ok

this will help u witth the system performance
