Selected Set - Plant link

Hi all

I am having difficulty in understanding link between selected sets (for UD - catalog type-3) and Plant.

I have maintained selected set only for one plant. But when I am making any change in this selected set, the changes are reflecting across all plants.

Can someone help me in understanding this link?

I have got the answer.

It depends upon the inspection type configuration.

If for a particular inspection type, a UD selected set is assigned, and "Selected Set in Same Plant flag" is not set, then the Selected Sets are available across all plants.

If this flag is set, then you will have to individually maintain Selected Sets for each plant.

Besic perpose of the Selected set is ,when its created for one plant ,its available for other plants as weel unlike codes/codegroup.

That's a reson when you have changed selected sets (for UD - catalog type-3 )

As you are using selected sets for all plants hence once updated its reflects everywhere.
