EWM storage location mapping

Is there a way to have more than one ECC storage location mapped as an 'AFS' storage location (availability group 002) in EWM. As far as I can see you can only have a one on one mapping, so one for availability group 001 and one for 002.

Best regards,

Pascal.

Hi,

There seems to be some missunderstand here what "AFS" means. This comes from a scenarion that you use two separate storage locations, one for procurement and one for sales. But of course you can ship from several storage locations, all from the same warehouse, this is a matter of the storage location determination in the outbound delivery. This only means you will not work with the standard EWM ROD/AFS scenario.

"In ERP WM, You can assign several storage locaitons to one warehouse number. But in EWM it seems to be not allowing the same."

Of course can cann assign several storage locations to one warehouse number.

" Probably you may have to create one extra availability group for each of the storage locations."

That is the point. For each storage location sharing the same warehouse number you need a separate availability group and separate stock types.

Hi,

In ERP WM, You can assign several storage locaitons to one warehouse number. But in EWM it seems to be not allowing the same. Probably you may have to create one extra availability group for each of the storage locations.

While desigining storage locations relvant for EWM, Process to which they are used given consideration such as Goods Receipt, Issue, Crossdocking or Production.
