Material staging date in OBD different than in STO!!

Dear All,

Ideally while creating the OBD with VL10B , system should copy the dates already determined dates under DELIVERY SCEDULING tab into the OBD being created but OBD bearing different Material staging date than the one in STO in my system (only for one shipping point & route , we are on ECC 6, EHP5 sp) & the root cause is being investigated.

Can anybody share your thoughts on the POTENTIAL root cause why Material staging date in OBD different than the Mat St Date in STO already determined ?.

Basis of my findings:---

The system calculates backward scheduling as follows:

Note:--Transportation Lead Time is not taken into consideration in Material availability date calculation

Goods issue date = Requested delivery date - Transit time

Loading date = Goods issue date - Loading time

Transportation scheduling date = Loading date - Transportation lead time

Material availability date = Loading date - Pick/Pack time = 02.06.2012  - 14 w. days = 19.05.2012

Material availability date = Requested delivery date - Transit w days - Loading w days - Pick/Pack w days = 19.06.2012 – 17 – 1 – 14  = 19.05.2012

1)  T-code  OVLY, for your sale order type, check whether the box for TranspSchd  is checked

2)  T-Code OVLZ, Check shipping point for the maintained Loading time and Pack/Pack time

3)  T-Code OVTCR, Check Route for the maintained Transit time & Transportation Lead time in days

4)  T-code  VOV8, for your order type, check Lead time in days is maintained
