Database Extractor Setup Problem during Managed System Config

Former Member

Good day

Solman 7.1 on Oracle 10.2.0.4 and HP-UX

When doing the solman_setup step, during phase 8 of Managed System Configuration, the step "Database Extractor Setup" fails and shows red led. The log file at the bottom of page says "Oracle Diagnostic Package is not marked as licensed". How do I resolve this? Entire solman setup and managed system config up to this point has been successful. We purchased our Oracle from SAP so I'm sure we are licensed.

Is this a bug? How do I fix this? I've read notes regarding the Oracle diagnostics pack for the dbacockpit, but I cannot find any information on how to enable the licensing or fix this if it is a bug.

Thanks.

Hi Werner,

Could you please go to the Step 5 'Enter System Parameters' of the

Managed System Configuration? Please input a check for the check box

'ORACLE Database Package is licensed' and repeat the steps.

Kind Regards,

Roland
