Message no. IP 38 in SAP during UnTECOing and re TECOing of Maintenance Orders.

Dear Experts

I would like to have a warning message no. IP 38 in SAP during UnTECOing and re TECOing of Maintenance Orders.

I tried to add this message in the customizing under the node Maintenance and Service Processing > Maintenance and Service Orders > Message Control with Application Area as IP and Msg No as 138 and Cat as W.

But system gives error message as "Specify the key within the work Area"

Can any one throw some light on this.

Hi,

You can use the Customer exit IWO10004 Maintenance Order: Customer check for order completion to check and raise the validation or message etc.

Discuss with your ABAP team and code it accordingly
