Hello Gurus, I Created the BOM related to one material and while raising the sales order i came across the following year:

No item category available (Table T184 OR NORM  TAP) and also

Structure explosion for item 000010 is not possible

Please guide me further, what exactly the error is?

Hi Hrushikesh,

Dogboy 49 is right you must define your Item category assignment in VOV4.

It must be:-

OR+LUMF+NIL+TAP=TAN,

and you must also check your item category & general item category groups in material master Sales data 2 View.

You have not defined Item Category assignment for this scenario.

This assignment is done in VOV4.  It is unclear to me what is the business scenario you are trying to accomplish, so there are a number of approaches you can take to solve this problem.
