Need of withdrawn of PR from SOCO while PR undergoes new release strategy

Dear Experts,

We have configured plan driven procurement scenario in the classic scenario in the environment of SRM7.01/ECC 6 EHP5. All the backend PR after approved by release strategy appears in the sourcing cockpit. However, in some cases, changes happens in PR and it undergoes a new approval by the release strategy. In such cases, the PR which has already been sent to SOCO for sourcing should disappear from SOCO for further follow on document.

Could you please suggest any solution on how to achieve it?

It seems logical that any change to the back end PR should also reflect in the SRM Shopping cart.

Please check how the external sourcing BADI can be retriggered when PR is changed and approved. XML message should be generated (different XML Mapping)again in SRM and this should change the existing shpping cart in SOCO (if no follow on action have been made to the SC).

Dear Malay,

We have already investigated the issue. Withdrawal of PR from sourcing cockpit if the PR is retriggered for release strategy is not possible. It will create a new item in the sourcing cockpit for additional item quantities against the same PR.

We have to convince the client for the same.
