how to schedule job with multi condition

hello,

i need to schedule a job (test1) to be run after job (test2) but if job test2 ended after specif time job test1 does not run.

for example: if test2 started and finished before 03:00 test 1 starts, and if test 2 finished after 03:00 test1 does not run.

Go to SM37 and schedule the jobs by using particular variants

thanks for your reply. i already went thru the above links but non of them explain how to schedule a job with tow or more conditions.

you can only choose one condition: immediate or after job or at date/time etc..

Hi Anas,

The possible solutions are:

1. You can create an event to acheive your results. Please find the below link for sample scenario:

To create a new batch job you can go to transaction Sm36,wherein you can define the job name,job class and target server..then you can go to start condition and select whether it is a periodic job,or immediate job and accordingly you can schedule the job..Also the very important thing is in the Step funtion you should have valid ABAP program or any external program which should be used at the background...

If you know the program then you can go to SE38 and create a variant for that program which can be later used in the newly created job.You can also copy an existing job and modify it according to the requirement by checking the job details in SM37.
