How will database upgradation impacts sap pi system ?

Hi Experts ,

Our basis team is performing the oracle database updgradation for the PI system . Once this will be done , we have to perform the testing for the PI system.

Can anyone suggest how does the database upgradation impact PI  and what all checks need to perform ?

Technically speaking PI data base upgradw will not affect any developments or configuration ,but good practise to test one round of testing for all interfaces.

Hi,

Yes, I hope this database upgradation is not effected any of of your PI scenarios.

We also did our developement & Quality system for Oracle upgradation we didn't see any error after upgradation.

We tested all our scenarios, Transports, looking everthing was good.

Thanks for getting back. 

Is it really recommend to test each and every scenario ? 

As for dev / Qa we hardly have  the data flow , so in this case we need to test the interfaces manually , hence please  advise

I  think it is not really required to test the every scenario.

My XI systems are upgraded very recently , I almost tested the very few scenarios, now my systems very fine.

If you like to go for test manually(I mean from configuration) you will not required test all the scenarios.

I hope very few scenarios test are enough.
