New features in SUP 2.1.3, no SAP SSO via JCO still?

Hi

The link to the new features in SUP 2.1.3

http://infocenter.sybase.com/help/index.jsp?topic=/com.sybase.infocenter.dc01203.0213/doc/html/title...

I am dissapointed that there is no SAP SSO via JCo still. Anyone has a clue on how one would do it in their project? How do you implement an SSO when the SAP ERP system uses its on user store (UME using a CUA)?

Had it been an LDAP I know sybase would have support for it. What are the options for the case I stated especially if I use JCo to connect to ERP from SUP? Thanks.

Regards

Hi, Sorry i wasnt clear in my previous reply.

It's just a SNC mapping from SU01, you may implement this setting only for those who require SSO.

CUA still remains user store for SAP ERP.

In this case, user should be able to use LDAP account to SSO to SAP.

Hi Lakshminarayanan,

You may purchase 3rd party SNC product for your SAP to use LDAP.

Our SAP UME is CUA which is pointing LDAP.

Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. But as you would have guessed by now, many SAP systems have gone live long before. Changing the SAP UME now to point to LDAP isnt a wise decision, especially to make SUP work which is only a small part of my customer's app ecosystem.
