Need to delete the delivery document from MD04

Hi Sap Guru's

The Business requirement is to delete the delivery document from MD04 transaction.

But preceeding document i.e., Sales order has been archived .

Kindly let me know how to delete the delivery document in MD04 as the sales order has been archived

Steve,

'Archived' does not mean the same as 'deleted'.  I doubt that the sales order was archived, at least not by using standard SAP-supplied archival methods.  SAP will not normally permit archiving when open deliveries exist.

It is possible that the delivery does not actually still exist, that only the delivery requirements are there.  Try running report SDRQCR21, which will rebuild the requirements.  If the delivery does not exist, then the display will disappear from MD04.

Otherwise, try deleting the delivery.  VL02N > Outbound Delivery > Delete.
