i hope he has ran report SMIGR_CREATE_DDL.

SQLFiles.LST

DFACT.SQL

Hi,

i have deleted index /BI0/9AEDCBAS~P from SAPDFACT.tsk then it went next phase. but i have one doubt is it any problem in future?

Hello Venkat,

After running  Report SMIGR_CREATE_DDL you have to  copy the results in either install dir of your target server or in case of oracle it should be copied to export_dump/DB/ORA.

Make sure you have done this.

It is also recommended that you should run this report just before starting the export.

First it looks for .SQL files (generated by the report), if it doesnt find then it takes from the standard .tsk file.

Probable reasons:-

1)  Report not run before export

2) Did not put the files generated in the location mentioned by me.

Thanks,

Hi Vishal,

yes you are right.

i have copied above .sql files into installation directory with tmp folder name. when error came i have copied above files to export_dump/DB/ORA.

now i have completed installation and performed initial checks not found any problem. but if i remove err index from .tsk is it cause any problem in future?

i have one doubt on .sql files when sap instmaster will ask these files?

Thanks,

Venkat

Hello Venkat,
These *.SQL files are used by R3load to create non standard DB objects in the target system.
Please find the content from TADM 70:-

In the case of BW non-standard database objects, the ABAP Dictionary contains table and index

definitions that are not sufficient to describe all objects properties. The missing information is held in the BW meta data (i.e. partition information, bit mapped indices, ...). R3LDCTL reads the ABAP Dictionary only. Additional information from BW meta data cannot be inserted into *.STR files. The *.STR file content is enough to export and import BW data via R3LOAD, but is insufficient to create the BW object in the target system.

To overcome the existing limitations of R3LDCTL and R3LOAD, the report SMIGR_CREATE_DDL

was developed, which writes database specific DDL statements into *.SQL files. R3LOAD was

extended to switch between the normal way of creating tables and indexes, and the direct execution of DDL statements from a *.SQL file. Now it is possible to create non-standard database objects and to load data into it using R3LOAD.

I am not sure about the index which you have skipped, it looks like a index for temporary BW table to me.I guess your BI consultant might give you proper answer.

Thanks,

Vishal

Hello Venkat,

As Vishal suggested, please work with your BI team and get this index recreated if needed.

Thanks,
