MMC start - I18N initialization error

I get a popup box "I18N initialization: Could not open libsapu16vc71.dll" when I start local SAP MMC. I think this started occuring after I installed SAP GUI 7.0. Any ideas?

Hi

Check if libsapu16vc71.dll is available in C:\WINDOWS\system32 ,if this is not available you can find the same file under C:\Program Files\SDB\DBM.Ideally in both the locations this dll should be available.Try it and start your mmc.

Hi People,

I also had the same error, put in search for the file (libsapu16vc71.dll) with (Rajat Anand) reported, copied and pasted in the WINDOWS SYSTEM32 folder and is working 100%

Hi,

The file libsapu16vc71.dll is not loaded because the RFC SDK is not available in the your system.To install this follow the note 27517.
