SAP Content server on LINUX REDHAT EL6/X86_64 64BIT

Hello,

I wanted to install SAP content server.

Latest version which I could see is Content server 640.

I wanted to know which is latest version of Content server ??

Also, required to know whehter this latest release is supported on LINUX REDHAT EL6/X86_64 64BIT ?

Any pointers appreciated.

Actually 640 is the latest version of content server. SAP has not invested recently into content server.

RHEL 6 is not a supported O.S for 640 content server. You should check PAM for more details.

here is a list of supported RHEL versions.

thank you for the hint. Although RHEL 6 has already been successfully tested by the Content Server colleagues, the release info has not made it into our PAM yet - but this should change soon. Please check again shortly.

Note that while the Netweaver 7.3 content server is certified on LINUX REDHAT EL6/X86_64 64BIT the Content database platform on MaxDB is not certified. Latest versions below.

Database platform - Content server

MAXDB 7.7 64-BIT

LINUX REDHAT EL5/X86_64 64BIT

29.11.2010

Operatin System - Content server

LINUX REDHAT EL6/X86_64 64BIT

10.04.2012

Are there plans for the MAXDB to be certified on the on the LINUX REDHAT EL6/X86_64 64BIT?
