Version is not considering in Quality info record

Hi Experts,

Document is not consideration during quality info record to Purchase order.

Let me explain:

Step 1: Created the Document with Document type 01.

           There are two versions 0 is Locked in Status

                                Version 1 is in Released in status

Step 2: Creation of Quality ino record with Document and version 0.

Step 3:Creation of Purchase order taking intothe consideration document with version 1.But I assigned in Quality ino record as 0.

System willnot picking the version level.irst it considers the status only not taking rom QI Record.

Can you please guide any config settings to be done.

My view is  ,System will not behave like this unless you have released quality info record exists with version 1 ,on the date when PO is created.

Suijit is correct.  The PO uses the data in place at the time the PO was created.  That might be your particular issue.  I beleive it might actually be when the purchase req is created but you'd have to check that.

Ok.. first off, why would you lock the first version, release the second version but expect the first version to be used?  Why wouldn't you want the second version used if that is the released one?

I don't want to be rude, but that kind of seems dumb.  Is there a specifc reason you are doing that?
