subDem not created in interchangeability

Hi Experts,

I am using interchangeability functionality in the project. I created new planning book by copying planning book 9ASNP_PS Iin new planning area.

Interchangeability setting are created properly.

after heuristic run DepDem is created instead of SubDem (planned). However details shows that it is substitution order. Still it is lookin as depDem and SubRec(planned) shows as planned order.

Have anyone faced the same issue? can I get details of the root cause?

Hi Sachin,

Have you used the standard Planning area or created your own planning area?

It seems that your planning area key figure settings need to be changed. Please verify what is the category group assigned to the Dependent Demand key figure and Substitution Demand (Planned) key figure.

We can also cross check the KF settings using the standard SNP Planning area.

In SPRO, check the categories assigned with the respective category groups.  If the substitution demand category is assigned to the category group assigned to the Dependent demand, then the above issue may arise.

Please check and revert.
