Different error messages in Sales Order (SAP Sales and Distribution)

Sales Order Error Message

Hi Everyone,

I would like to share an error message that we came across today in SAP Sales and Distribution while checking Sales Orders. Kindly follow the following screen shots if you have a problem of such a nature, also feel free to share the errors that you encountered while working on SAP SD module and also how you go about it.

The Sales Order Error "Quantity could not be converted from L to ******"

If any of your team(s) are reporting the below error message, locate the problem line where **** exists in the in the volume field at the line level and replace it with L this is a temporary work around.

Refer to the below screen shots for more information. The error message will only appear on existing sale order, not applicable order generated as of today.

This was a question in the morning until we found an answer in the afternoon, I would like to share it with other SCN members so they can have a look at this one if they have similar kind of problem, thank you!

this error message comes at your material  unit of message like VAL

your above screen you enter under VAL field at line item level you enter CMM, **** Like this so this conversation not maintain this ,

please check carefull at sale order line item VAL Field , it after price field their check at

and also check you conversion factors of materials

go to mm02 and enter material and display the material data , here click on additional data  tab or pres  CTRL+F6, after comes one pop up here click on unit of measure, then base unit of measure and sale unit of measure comes ,

here you will check all data

you enter wrong VAL at sale order line item level , CMM, **** , please delete this and try normal sales unit of measure

please check this and conform
