SAP Solution Manager 7.1SP04 and SAP Solution Manager 7.1SR1

Dear All,

Few days back I had installed SAP Solution Manager 7.1SP04. With the media

Instalation Master:51039991

Export:51039398_1 and 51039398_2

Java:51040039

and now I have to install the latest Solution Manager which is 7.1SR1.

My question here is if SAP Solution Manager 7.1SR1 is the same as Solution Manager 7.1SP04

The media which is showed now in Solman 7.1 section is

Instalation Master:51042606

Export:51042607_1 and 51042607_2

Java:51042609

So now when i have to install Solution Manager 7.1 SR1 should i download the latest media or I can use the old SP04 media????

Hello Sohrab,

I recently install SAP Solution manager SR1 and found that its incluse SPS04.

I am just upgarading to SPS05 now. (you can not upgrade to SPS04 bucause its included in to SR1 release)

3. Update of SAP Solution Manager 7.1 SR1 (installation)

• The SAP Solution Manager 7.1 SR1 level corresponds to the latest SAP Solution Manager 7.1 stack 04 level. You can continue immediately with the further configuration of the system.

Hi,

Please read the sap note Note 1577909 - Additional information about Solution Manager 7.1 SR1

It is clearly mentioned SM 7.1 SR1 is same as Solman 7.1 sp04.

Strong Suggestion is to use SM 7.1 SR1 DVD.

Please review the note
