Does SAP PI understand cXML format

Hi Experts,

I want to know if PI supports cXML fromat or not?

I have a scenario in which I have to receive cXML file from file adapter in PI and read it to create idoc.

Need help from the basics.

Your tips/suggestions would be highly appreciaed.

PI can understand XML formats only. To import cXML files into PI the Conversion Agent Itemfield/Informatica needs to be used.
