catalog type 5

Dear sir,

   i have created a catlog in qs41 such as

Catalog 5

Code group as inhouse

under the Code group i have maintained several code such as

Code Short Text for the Code

IH01 Length

IH02 Width

Now my client Requirement On clicking IH01 It should open as

Sub code such as Length is Long

Length is short

You can't have multi tier levels.  You have codes.  You have to set up

IH01 - Short length

IH02 - Long length

IH03 - Narrow width

IH04 - Wide width

Under IH01 a)Length is Long

                 b)Length is short is Required

You can't assign sub codes to a code for any catalog type.

Not allowed, not availble and I don't think you'll find any easy way to accomplish it.  I.e. no user exits or enhancements that would make it easy. 

If this was my client, I would be telling them the process needs to be rethought.

Hi Kannan,

You can have maximum 2 levels here.

You can create e.g. IH - LENGTH as code group. Under this code group you can define following 2 codes.

IH01 - Length is long

IH02 - Length is short
