Upload photo: Crop problem

Hi,

I wanted to upload my profile photo, but I am unable to upload a photo displaying my whole face - I get kept in the "Crop your photo" step.

- I can't extend the crop area vertically

- Creating a smaller jpeg is of no help either: The maximum crop amount is always set in such a way that I am unable to keep the full face.

- Of course, I can't skip the crop step either.

Hi Rüdiger,

the profile photo is in landscape orientation now. Cropping a portrait photo into this format doesn't work really well. THe solution is simple: use a different photo, which is in landscape format already.

Hi Oliver, thanks for the "landscape" information. I solved the problem - as you see .  The trick was to give the image more width, instead of more height.

Oliver: I know - and knew - what landscape is. What I didn't know - and what you told me - was that the upload function requires the photo to be in landscape format. Thanks. Rüdiger
