SRM and ECC logical systems update in config without client open?

Hi SRM Experts,

We maintained ECC logical systems in SRM config and SRM logical systems

in ECC. Logical systems are different in Dev, QA and Prod environent so

it can not be transported QA and Prod systems. Is there anyway to udpate

logical systems in SRM and ECC Production systesm without opening the

clients? You know, what is the best practice?

Your thoughts will be highly appreciated.

Hi Chandra,

As Trinath suggested, the entries need to be maintained directly in production system as red book entries. Normally it is maintained during cut-over window when the system is being opened to maintain all the red book entries.

You can maintain the logical systems for dev, qa and prod systems in development environment and transport to qa and prod.

But you while defining the system landscape under technical basic setting, you have to maintain it directly in qa and prod system.
