Material Master CIF Fails

Hi,

The changes have been made in material master in Unit of measures like weight,volume etc.

Which has not reflected in EWM even after executing CIF process.

Please help me out .

Hi Rock,

Can you try out by executing report RIMODINI (Start Initial Supply for Integration Models) with your integration model and check whether changes are reflected in EWM ?

EWM is new for me so not much aware from it reports etc.

Can you outline briefly about report RIMODINI.

I mean just executing this report will reflect the data from ECC to EWM ?

Hi Rock,

This report is for initial transfer of data based on your integration model.

Execute the report by providing your Active Integration Model,Logical System and Application.

To Automate the process by BTE , check the following  things,

• Material master Change transfer value as 2 in transaction CFC9
• Check whether Active integration model exist for the material in transaction CFM5

I checked CFC9 and found transfer value as 2.

But do not get "Check whether Active Integration model exist for material in CFM5 "?.

I mean what input i have to give for tcode CFM5 ? & how to execute ?.

Whether your changes are reflected to EWM by executing report RIMODINI with your integration model ?

Changes made in material master should automatically reflect to EWM product master using Business Transaction Events(BTE) , no need to do the CIF process again thats what i meant by automate.

If you are using BTE , Check these also,

• Transaction BF11 , ND-APO and NDI are activated,
• Transaction BF31 , Event 00001250 has FM NDPLG_APO_001_00001250_MAT
• Transaction CFM5 , just give material as input and check whether integration model exists with active status.

Hi Thyagu,

Executing RIMODINI in SE38 have reflected the changes in EWM.

But can you outline if there any caution to made while executing RIMODINI in SE38.

I mean executing RIMODINI will affect any objects,intergration model ,reports in system.

IS it safe to use.

Hi Rock,

RIMODINI is used for initial transfer of master data to EWM.

It doesn't affect any other objects.

Better check for BTE set-up as mentioned in my above posts to reflect the changes in EWM without executing the report(RIMODINI) or running the CIF process(CFM1 / CFM2) again.

Please explain how to setup BTE so that changes in Material Masters will reflect automatic in EWM.

I mean  how to set up BTE.
