getting status of messages(holding, system error) from Adapter Engine

Hi Experts,   

We are working on Alert configuration for PI 7.1 to stream line our monitoring of our production server. Specifically I want to monitor the adapter engine Message monitoring status like Holding, system error, delivering, to be delivered Etc., for this i don't want to use customization. I am trying to explore java scheduler in NWA under operations management.   Is it possible to get the message statuses (delivering holding etc) from adapter engine with standard functionalities ?

Hi Venu,

Using standard alert mechanism it is not possible to trigger alert for holding ,delieving aND  to be delivered status messages but you can trigger alert for system errors(if the error occured due to commuication channel error).

Raja, Thanks for your quick response, I have already gone through the blog.

If you look inot the blog and the comments section of lopez

"using the Java Scheduler, available from PI 7.1, to schedule a job to run every 15 minutes and do the query. You would need to deploy an EJB in the JEE for that"

Do you have any inputs regarding the solution what he is talking

He was talking about SAP NetWeaver Scheduler for Java. However, I am not sure that if the EJB he wanted you to deploy is available out of box.
