When I click on a post link (eg: https://www.sdn.sap.com/sdn/weblogs.sdn?blog=/pub/wlg/931), it goes to http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn?blog=/pub/wlg/931

I tried to send a message to Horst Keller, but "You can only send Direct Messages to your Friends / Connections (people following you)."

Someone help me here http://scn.sap.com/thread/3184575 please.

I found this by going to Horst's profile page and clicking Content > Blogs.  Searching for the title also works on site search or Google (http://bit.ly/new-scn-search)

No, you cannot direct message unless both parties are following each other.
