Currency exchange rate issue

Dear All,

We are on SRM 5 and recently we are facing an issue with currency exchange rate.

We know that there will be a Bid invitaion currency when the purchaser creates it.

The purchaser can select additional currencies also so that the suppliers can repond in any language out of the additional currencies allowed.

In our case, the purchaser created BI say in X currency. He also has set additional currencies as Y, Z.

The supplier responded in Y currency.

Now when  the purchaser is trying to evaluate the bids, in the Bid comparision screen , he gets the error message that

'No exchange rate found for currency Y. Prices are copied to X'.

And the conversion is not happening at all.

In ECC , we use indirect quotation and we have the standard BBP_GET_EXRATE report scheduled to update the exchange rates.

We are using EUR as the reference currency for exchange rate type M in the below customizing step shown in below screenshots.

So , for the conversion to happen from Y -> X, it should happen like

Ratio for EUR - Y

Ratio for EUR - X because for european  countries, conversion happens with reference currency in 'from' as per the documentation help in the customizing step.

In ECC , we can see that the TCURR entries are in place correctly . I fail to understand why this conversion is not happening properly.

Is the standard report BBP_GET_EXRATE not replicating the updates. ?

Any pointers or ideas ?

Hello,

Have you compared the entries in TCURR of SRM with that of ERP?

Also Check the SPRO node SAP Web Application Server->General Settings->Currencies.

Specifically the node: Enter Prefixes for Direct/Indirect Quotation Exchange Rates

Check if all the config at the above SPRO node are alright.
