Availability check

Hi,

in VA02 system doesn't allow to confirm the delivery date before a certain date i.e. 10/7/2012.

The stock is available in storage location.

My requirements are:

1) I would send the materials to the customer today that are available.

Schedule line date for availability check

The delivery date that the system uses to carry out an availability check.

Use

The system checks availability and proposes the maximum quantity for delivery on, or as close as possible, to the customer's requested delivery date.

Procedure

You can change the date manually, but only to a later date.

2) Is there a trx to mass confirm in VA02 availibility quantity instead of editing each sales order ?

1) You may have loading time / pick/pack time & transit times maintained which would influence the confirmed delivery date. These are maintained in the shipping point & route scheduling customising settings (Transactions OVLZ & 0VTC).

For example, in OVLY, you are not allowing dates in the past.

You create a sales order with requested delivery date = today (31st May).

You have maintained a route with transit time = 1 day in 0VTC.

You maintain loading time = 1 day in shipping point in OVLZ

You maintain Pick / Pack time = 1 day in pick / pack time in OVLZ.

The system will execute a backwards scheduling:

31st May - 1 day = 30th (GI Date)

30th - 1 = 29th May (Loading Date)

29th - 1 = 28th May (Material Availability Date).

However, these dates are in the past, so the system switched to a forwards scheduling and will do the following

Material availa date = Today (31st)

+ 1 = 1st June

+ 1 = 2nd June

+ 1 = 3rd June (Delivery Date)

So the earliest date is in the future (On 3rd June)...

2) V_V2 is essentially a mass ATP check that will confirm sales orders collectively rather than accessing VA02 for each one.

Hi,

• Please check whether you maintain any "lead time in days" in sales document type in Tcode VOV8
• Check the lead times in route determination( if u have route in your system)
• Picking and packing times in shipping point.
