SRM Organization structure - users assignment

Hello Guys

Could you please tell me how to link users to SRM Org structure, i have just created a Organizational unit department under a company code.

1. I have some users exists in SRM side i.e. SU01 id already exits.

2. Some users exits in ECC and not in SRM.

3. Some users not exits any where.

This maintenance have to done manually in SRM not replicated from HR.

I want to know from very basic steps how to integrate this. I know we can use USERS_GEN, but i want a clear picture on how to do this from end to end.

If the user is not available in SRM su01, you can not add the user in SRM Org structure.

The su01 user has to be created for all the user first before adding them in PPOMA_BBP through users_GEN as you are doing manual maintainance.

That's fine. Could you please tell me more about this maintenance. For e.g. lets say user is created in SU01, then could you tell me the steps from end to end for the maintenance of this org structure.

In users_gen transaction there is a option of creating users from other systems, if we do so a su01 user will also be created. Please confirm.

Another option we have like creating users from file, here also su01 user is required, before using this method.
