Repost Cost

Dear Experts,

              I want to manually repost the costs from one wbs to another which are already settled in previous fin.year to wip gl acc.KB11n/15n can be used for the purpose, but is there any way by which without settlement reversal, i can repost those costs without opening the posting periods of 2010. Can you suggest another way round if possible.

No.

You want to repost the cost in prev financial year. For posting, period must be open.

If you want to track cost then you have to open period. Making entry directly to table and removing entry from table might be the solution but this is not recommended.

Hi Manish,

Yes.you can repost costs.but in currently fiscal period and year only.not in old fiscal period and year.

Once financial books closed,accounting department doesn't open prior years.
