Hi All,
I have just installed Application Server Java of SAP NetWeaver 7.3 on Windows Oracle. Now I want to bring it to the highest level, sp07. Please guide me.
Hi Mutepfe,
You can find the document for NW7.3 SPS07 Upgrade in Marketplace.
http://service.sap.com/instguides -->SAP NetWeaver --> SAP NetWeaver 7.3 --> Maintenance--> 7.3 SPS 07
Download the guide and start upgrading the stack.
Thanks and Regards
Pavan

Hello,
The best way is following the upgrade guides for your system version. For that, please, go to SAP Service MarketPlace:
http://service.sap.com/instguides
and here on the left side of the page choose:
Installation & Upgrade Guides ->P NetWeaver 7.3-> Upgrade
On the right side of the page you will find the upgrade guides that explains how to do the process.
I hope this helps you.
Kind regards,
Blanca

Hi Mutepfe,
for this do the following steps:
(assuming you have checked regarding notes and remarks for your particular product)
1. download appropriate support package stack from SAP service marketplace (e.g. using Solution Manager Maintenance Optimizer), put files into TRANS_DIR/EPS/in
2. download support package stack list too, and put it in the same folder
3. start JSPM (<instance_dir>/j2ee/JSPM/go)
4. logon with SDM password (likely the master password set during the installation)
5. at first kernel will be updated (system restart!) and JSPM will be patched
6. then restart JSPM, select your patches and perform update process guided by the tool
7. check update logs and system traces, if everything went fine
Regards,
Peter
