EHP Upgrade on ECC 6.0

Hi ,

We are using ECC6.0, DB -  Oracle 10.2.0.5 and OS - WIN

We are planning to apply EHP5 on our SAP System. I checked on Market Place for Upgrade guide But I see :

1) Upgrade guides from earlier releases like 4.7 , ECC 5 not from ECC 6.0 to EHP version

2) In Installation guides also I only see new ECC 6.0 EHP Installation.

3) I checked Master guide also but that also do not provide much required information.

Can you please let me know path where I can find EHP Upgrade guide on ECC 6.0 Server.

Shivam,

To upgrade from ECC6 to a specific Enhancement pack release, you would actually use both the application specific (ECC, SRM, SCM, etc) guide and the Software Update Manager (SUM) guide for the technical details of the process.  Since you found the earlier guide, the latter can be found for a specific product by accessing the /instguides quicklink and then getting to a specific EHPx release of a product i.e. (SAP Enhancement Pack 6 for ERP).  From there, a link should be provided to the SUM guide appropriate for that product and intended EHP target level.

Hi Josh,

Thanks for reply, SUP Guide looks meeting my requirement ..I am going throght that.

But For Application Specific guide in my case it is ECC, if i want to complete Application Specific preparation steps and followup steps which guide I should follow becasue:

1) Upgrade guide contains steps for Upgrade from 4.6C to ECC 5.0 not ECC 6.0

And

2) Installation guide contains several steps which we will not be required for an existing system.

So please suggest which guide i should follow for Application specific activities.
