FILE (IDOC) to IDOC Question

Hi all,

I just want to ask if it is possible and simply to build in SAP PI next integration scenario:

FILE to IDOC,

but the file, is an txt with an IDOC format (ORDERS). I am receiving a txt but the structure of that file is an IDOC structure.

Hi Antonio,

If I got your requirement well, the IDoc on the sender side is a flat file, is that correct? If so, you can use the IDOCFlatToXmlConvertor adapter module bean to convert the flat file data to an IDoc XML structure that PI can further process. Some useful documents to read on this topic:

Hi Antonio,

If you are in PI 7.11, then you have a standard SAP module IDOCFlatToXmlConvertor which converts the flat txt file to required IDoc format.
