Wiki not working in portal

Former Member

Dear all,

We have installed the WIKI component in our NW 7.3 portal. Assigned SAP-delivered Wiki specific portal roles to one of the id's. This id has administrator role. While trying to access the Wiki Admin iview I'm getting the 404 error (refer the attached screenshot)

I took http trace and found that below mentioned urls are causing the error? How can I fix this problem?

http://<hostname>:50000/wiki/admin/secure/servlet/ChangeAdminUserServlet?rootSpace=

http://<hostname>:50000/wiki/admin/?rootSpace=

Regards,

Aparnna Prasad

Hello Aparnna Prasad,

The Wiki Admin and End-User iViews are part of the KMC-UI SCA. However the actual wiki application is in KMCWIKI SCA. So even if you have deployed only KMC-UI you will see the iViews.

Can you check if you have deployed also KMCWIKI SCA?

Hi

Thank you for your reply.

Both the SC's are installed in our system. But as per the Wiki installation document, a user with any of the following roles can access the Wiki Admin page

The application-specific SAP NetWeaver AS Java security role JiveAdminDefinitionRole (refer to the security provider for sap.com/com.sap.netweaver.coll.wiki)

The SAP NetWeaver AS Java security role (Administrators)

I have the role "administrators". When I search for the action I get the Forum related action (please refer attached screenshot - ActionSearch.png). I don't get anything related to Wiki

And I can see 3 applications related to Wiki (WikiApplications.png)

What may be the reason for the issue?

Hello Aparnna,

One of the possible reasons why the wiki application is not responding might be the deployment of a version of wiki that is described in note 1641153. As a prerequisite note 1450166 has to be applied.

Can you check if this is the case in your situation? In most cases in the default traces you'll find exceptions regarding XSRF on the startup of wiki.
