SAP ME Upgrade 5.1->5.2 and Oracle Streams

Hello All,

We're looking into options for our 5.1 -> 5.2 upgrade and was wondering if anyone has used Oracle Streams or does anyone have any other advice for replication of data in a high-availability environment?

Kevin,

I'm 99% sure that you will not find any information regarding ME+Oracle Streams in ME documentation. Probably this Oracle feature can be used for ME database as well as for any other database. But as such configuration has not been tested, we cannot predict how it will behave. As it is extra DB data processing, I assume it could have some negative consequences in terms of performance. But again, this is just an assumption.
